16GB is now the bare minimum, like 8GB was a few years ago. If building new with a medium or larger budget, I think 32GB is correct. If budget is a major concern, 16GB is still "fine" for a majority of gaming but we are starting to see games require more. Agreed. better to get 32gb.

Looks good to me. B-die refers to a RAM chip made by Samsung - it's the thing G.Skill etc buy a bunch of to assemble into the RAM sticks you can buy. B-die is very fast, but very expensive. Generally, anything 3200 C16 or slower is non-B-die and B-die is required to get to 3200 C14 or above.

Posted November 27, 2018. The difference in price for me is huge, around $120USD. I live in New Zealand and if I buy the 2666mhz RAM (was $220) it is under the threshold of paying import tax ($230USD). With the 3200mhz RAM it's $47USD more expensive plus TAX plus a more expensive shipping method.

Depends on the CPU and the use case for the system. Low latency DDR4-2666 around CL13 or so isn't bad at all. 3200 is a good middle ground especially considering prices. It's probably the same.
